Cory Laird grew up on a wheat farm in northcentral Montana. There, he learned the importance of hard work and accountability. After high school, Cory attended Carroll College in Helena, graduating in 1997. That fall, Cory enrolled in the University of Montana School of Law. He graduated from law school in 2000 and was licensed that same year. Since 2000, Cory has handled a wide array of complex litigation matters. He has represented businesses and individuals in wrongful death actions, multi-million dollar real estate development cases, civil rights actions, professional negligence cases, and everything in between. Cory is licensed in all state and federal courts in Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, Wyoming, as well as the Federal District Courts of Colorado, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Tribal Court of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Reservation. Cory practices in the areas of commercial litigation, personal injury litigation, real estate litigation, construction litigation, and professional negligence litigation.
